I’ve been playing the hell out of skyrim recently. So I started digging into more of the elder scrolls lore and how the world of nirn (the planet the elder scrolls takes place on.) was created. Basically the entire elder scrolls series takes place in a dream. It’s a dream by something called the god head. From it sprang the opposing forces of anu and padomay. Anu representing stasis and order and padomay representing change and chaos.
So then anu and padomay each created a soul. Anu created Anuiel and padomay created sithis. And then those souls created the souls of auriel (better known as akatosh) and lorkan. Then from the void other souls sprang into existence. And they created the planes of atherius and oblivion. Long story short lorkan tricked auriel and some of the other souls into creating mundas or the mortal realm. And so you have the world where the elder scrolls games are set.
But the truth is it’s all just a dream. The souls and cosmic forces that proceeded them are really just part of a dream. A dream by the god head. And if the god head wakes up the world of the elder scrolls disappears. So what is the point of all of this? I think our world is similar to the world of the elder scrolls. It started off with one consciousness and that consciousness split itself off into the different points of view. Or different souls. The earth is just a dreamworld. And if enough of us work together we could become lucid in the dream and change it.
In the elder scrolls a person can become lucid and gain control over the dream. In the elder scrolls this is called chim. Tiber septim acheived chim and turned cyrodil from a dense jungle into a grass land. And he did so by altering the timeline so it was always a grass land. So a person who achieves chim in the elder scrolls has a lot of power and is like a lucid dreamer. But it gets even crazier from there. After achieving chim you can achieve amoranth and become your own god head and create your own world. Basically making your own lucid dream world. Basically becoming a mini god.
So there is a lot of things hidden in the elder scrolls lore. It’s pretty crazy. I think our world is similar to the elder scrolls Unfortunately I think for us achieve god hood and change the world to make it how we want it to be would take a lot of people working together. The world is so complex because it’s not really there. It’s waveform fields being decoded by the five senses. And then sent to the brain as electrical signals. And then decoded into a three dimensional hologram. Sight and sound are obviously just frequency fields. This becomes apparent with things like synesthesia. Where you hear colors and see sounds. It is a very complex dreamworld. But I do think that with enough people working together we could change it.
